    Using your HSA

As of January 1, 2026, Oregon is one of the most progressive states for Direct Primary Care patients.

Thanks to the passage of House Bill 2540 (HB 2540), Oregon has officially removed one of the biggest financial hurdles for DPC members: your membership fees can now count toward your insurance deductible.

Under this law, most Oregon health insurance companies are required to credit the money you pay for DPC toward your annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.

Included: Most private health benefit plans, including fully insured group plans (offered by employers) and individual/family plans purchased through the Marketplace.
